Industries We Serve

Here at HTS Coatings we have worked in everything from aerospace parts to shafts from old industrial air conditioners. With that work has come a lot of knowledge that can be applied to many different situations. Knowing how things work and the issues that they will face is a large part of being able to suggest repairs or new ways of making parts. It helps us guide clients to better solutions and to be able to follow their specifications and even offer ways to make their processes better.

General Industrial

General industrial covers a large group of parts we manufacture and repair. This area covers shafts, sleeves, bearing housings and pretty much anything else that can be processed at HTS. Many individuals and shops have brought work to us needing either bearing and seal sections repaired or a full replacement part made. With our machining and grinding capabilities we can produce a new part and leave it as is or add wear coatings or weld to make it last longer. These same capabilities can be used to bring old parts back to life. Typically, this new lease on life will allow the parts to last longer than they did in their original configuration.

  • Shafts

  • Pumps

  • Bearing housings

  • Impellers

  • Bronze bearings

  • Babbitt bearings

  • Mis-machined parts

  • Augers

  • Feed screws

Glass

Glass manufacturing is an extreme process where you are trying to eliminate wear from high temperatures and abrasion from the molten glass. While doing this, you have to also lubricate the glass to allow it to move freely through the process. HTS offers several coatings that can increase the life of parts such as:

  • Troughs

  • Deflectors

  • Scoops

  • Mold holders

  • Electrodes

  • Transfer plates

  • Orifice rings

Mining

Mining is an extremely tough environment for parts. Whether you are dealing with underground mining and the corrosion problems below ground or the wear and tear of above ground mining, HTS is ready to offer ideas to help keep you in production. Some of the parts we have repaired and/or manufactured include:

  • Hydraulic rods

  • Turbo chargers

  • Suspension components

  • Wear plate

  • Drive components

  • Cylinder liners

  • Pumps

Oil & Gas

Keeping a pipeline, well or refinery producing can be a daunting task. Through the years we have added life to many parts of the process of moving liquids and solids to where they are needed. Often these components are in high-wear environments with sand or other abrasives in them, or they can be in severely corrosive environments. Often both wear and corrosion issues are present. There are many coatings and welds that can solve these issues without having to purchase new parts or going to exotic metal alloys for those new parts.

  • Pumps

  • Rotors

  • Impellors

  • Ball valves

  • Butterfly valves

  • Gate valves

  • Valve bodies

  • Piping

  • Shafting

  • Bearing housings

  • Mud motors

  • Mud pumps

  • Mandrels

Power Generation

Power Generation work requires quick turn times and quality work. Much of the work done in this area is preventing erosion from water in the steam side or high temperature gas resistance. If the system is using corrosive gasses for generating power, there are materials that can prevent corrosion from damaging parts and extending the life of the system.

  • Valve stems

  • Blades / buckets

  • Diaphragms

  • Rotor shafts

  • Spill strips

  • Snout pipes

  • Baffles

  • Motor shafts

  • Pumps

  • Bearings

Print

The print industry has several unique problems to them. The cleaning agents and inks used can be corrosive to parts on the press and the parts are usually high tolerance. Finding ways to repair these parts can be challenging, but at HTS we have dealt with these challenges for many years. We have experience in both web and sheet fed print systems along with ancillary equipment needed.

  • Ceramic ink rolls

  • Grip rolls or draw rollers

  • Anvil rolls

  • Slitter rolls

  • Web printing cylinders (Metroliner, many types of Goss cylinders, Toshiba, Man Roland)

  • Eccentric bearing housings

  • Former boards

  • Roller brackets

  • Spider assemblies
